In Cedar Creek, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (512) 985-5585. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 65 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Cedar Creek is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cedar Creek follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Finally checked this place out after years of driving by. Incredible selection of rocks and fossils and even some antiques in there!

Visited couple of weeks back, currently bonsai isn't available. Do call the garden before arriving. Parking is very challenging as this is located on highway 71 and the path to the store is a unpaved road. Lot of antique stuffs available if interested but was bit pricey. Wish they host a website with details of bonsai when available.

Wonderful little shop. Has some small bonsai and some very old ones. The owner is super nice and very helpful. I enjoyed talking to him! He has a large selection of bonsai pots and fossils. I was able to pick up an older bonsai for a great price! I will be a repeat customer for sure! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

What a great stop. There is a beautiful collection of Bonsai trees. And the excellent collection of fossils and stones are great for gifts and decorating. As well as other collectibles. It is a bit of a mess and the drive way may scare you a little but it is well worth it.
